Greetings from the snowy depths of winter in Crested Butte... we're already buried under 204 inches of powder! "Red Buildings, Large", Shaun Horne's latest painting, focuses on the subtleties of shape, shadow and light. The vivid red buildings provide warmth and contrast to the pillowy piles of snow. These piles buried the stream and redirected Shaun's focus to the buildings, making this "Red Buildings" painting distinctively different from past depictions.
