Widely known as the birthplace of the mountain bike, Crested Butte is home to some of the best Colorado mountain biking, and single track riding. Crested Butte mountain biking is like nowhere else, with lush high alpine trails that offer everything from technical descents, to long, fast and smooth singletrack. Our high elevation of 9,000' allows for rides with some incredible and majestic scenery whether your riding in the shadow of the surrounding peaks, or hurtling down the sides of them. Crested Butte is the Wild Flower Capital of Colorado so the scenery is unmatched anywhere else in the Colorado mountain biking scene.
