The Gunnison-Crested Butte Regional Airport (GUC) provides frequent commercial service with airline partner United Express (operated by SkyWest and Mesa), United Airlines and American Airlines. It is a publicly owned, public use airport located 1 mile southwest of the City of Gunnison, Colorado. For shuttle services to and from the airport, Alpine Express is available for door-to-door service. Car rentals are also available from Hertz, Avis and Budget.

The Gunnison-Crested Butte Regional Airport is a certificated Part 139 airfield and provides the day-to-day operations of such. Airport staff maintains the airport (building maintenance, upkeep, cleaning, etc.) and airport grounds (all airport property and structures, mowing, snow and ice, etc.). The airport also provides ARFF (Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting) and airport security.

The airport is responsible for a Wildlife Management Plan and all aspects of airport parking.
Most of the airport's functions are federally regulated. Night landing issues are County regulated and FAA approved. Airport staff secures grant revenues for, and oversees, Capital Improvement projects and are an enterprise fund of Gunnison County.

Parking Passes
Parking is available at the airport terminal and randomly patrolled by airport staff. Following is a current rate schedule for pre-paid parking passes. To purchase a daily or monthly pass, please go to an entrance foyer for information. To purchase an annual pass please contact Airport staff directly at (970) 641-2304.

Daily (information in foyer) $5.00 per day
Monthly (information in foyer) $50.00 per month
Annually (contact Airport staff directly) $325.00 per year

Please note that the monthly passes are for consecutive days during the month and vehicles are not permitted to be brought in and out multiple times.
